Financial Services Office The Financial Services Office within the Crawford County Sheriff's Office is a multifunctional operation.  Since Sheriff Ronny Shawber took office in 1981, one individual has been responsible for handling all financial and personnel related duties for his Office. The Financial Services Director assists the Sheriff in preparing the annual operating budgets for the Jail and Enforcement operation of the Sheriff's Office. As stated earlier, the Sheriff's Financial Service Office is multi-functional.  The Financial Services Director acts as the in-house Human Resources Manager for the 69 employees on staff at the Sheriff's Office and Jail.  She prepares employee payroll for submission to the County Auditor's Office, keeps all sick leave, vacation and compensation time records, along with assisting current and new employees with Personnel related issues. The Sheriff's Financial Services Director maintains a close working relationship with the Crawford County Auditor's Office Payroll and Financial Services department to insure a smooth link in the Crawford County Government's financial chain. In these extremely difficult economic times, the tax payers of Crawford County can be assured that the Sheriff, along with his staff, strives to provide the highest standards of fiscal responsibility.
