Inmate Work Release Program

Inmates who are employed prior to incarceration may be made eligible for work release. If the sentencing Judge grants them the privilege, the inmates are given an opportunity to maintain their employment. To participate in this program, inmates must remain alcohol and drug free. Inmates will also undergo random substance abuse testing while participating in this program. Inmates are responsible for their own transportation to and from work. Inmates that participate in this program must pay the county a weekly fee.
